If you use Microsoft 365, Copilot just got even better.
Consensus for Copilot is now an official app in the Microsoft Marketplace, so Copilot can search Consensus’ corpus of 220M+ peer-reviewed papers to help you do research where you already work, faster.
Where it works:
• Copilot Chat and Cowork — ask a research question and get papers you can open, instead of a summary you have to go verify somewhere else.
• Word — pull supporting studies while you’re drafting, and cite the paper you actually read.
• Excel — build a screening or extraction table with real references in the rows.
• PowerPoint — put sourced evidence on the slide for a lecture, a lab meeting, or journal club.Enable Consensus for Copilot →
You’ll need a Microsoft 365 Copilot license and a Consensus account, which is free to create. Turning it on takes just a few clicks.
If you’re at an institution, your IT team may manage which Copilot apps are available — send them this documentation and they can enable it for everyone.
