IE: Internet Protected Mode: Off
V. Sinds gisteren krijg ik de melding op Internet Explorer: “Internet Protected Mode: Off”. Als ik bij “Internet – opties” kijk lijkt alles normaal (=enabled). Enig idee wat er aan de hand kan zijn?
A. Het is een instelling van de security zones (Internet Options, security), geen globale instelling van de browser.
Helaas weet ik niet welke versie van Windows en Internet Explorer

Google kondigt aan dat het oudere browsers niet meer gaat ondersteunen. GMail, Google docs en Google calendar zullen vanaf 1 augustus niet meer alle features ondersteunen voor gebruikers van Internet Explorer 7, Firefox 3.5 en Safari 3. Uiteindelijk zullen dze browserversies helemaal niet meer ondersteund worden. Google wil HTML5 volop gaan gebruiken voor de features die ze aanbieden.
