I was called to have a closer look at a Windows XP machine with the following symptoms:
- Random text appeared in Outlook Express compose window and Internet Explorer form fields
- There was only random text when te focus was in the
The usual malware scanners (virus scanner, Lavasoft, Spybot) couldn’t find anything.
We got rid of it by deleting the TEMP files (including Temporary Internet Files) and after emptying the DLLCACHE. This apparently did the trick.
