- To rename a folder in Windows Vista, select it and press F2. Type the new name.
- There are two issues:
- Make sure that the containing folder is fully loaded (mind the progress indicated in the address bar). If the folder isn’t fully loaded yet, the focus is lost and you rename another folder. This might cause data loss.
