V. Bij het afdrukken in Internet Explorer 8 krijg ik deze fout:

Ik werk met Windows 7 64 bit. Wat kan ik doen?

A. Het gaat over een add-on die niet goed werkt op 64 bit, en/of niet goed werkt als je geen administrator bent. een workaround is te rechtsklikken op het 32 bit icoon voor IE8, en dan uit te voeren als administrator.

De oorzaak kan je alleen achterhalen als je alle add-ons uitschakelt in Tools, Internet Options, Programs – en ze dan één voor één weer inschakelt tot je de schuldige gevonden hebt.

Enkele dagen geleden is de derde versie van de Internet Explorer 9 Platform preview gepubliceerd.

• HTML5, Native: Third IE9 Platform Preview Available for Developers

  is de aankondiging, met informatie over HTML5 hardware acceleration.

  is de laatst beschikbare versie van dé documentatie die elke webontwikkelaar op zijn minst even moet inkijken.

• Tenslotte dit: als jde de platform preview al gebruikt, zal die testdrive pagina melden dat er een nieuw eversie beschikbaar is, en voorstellen om te updaten.
