• Om een folder te hernoemen in Windows Vista, selecteer de folder and druk op F2. Typ de nieuwe naam in.
• Er zijn twee problemen:

• Let erop dat de folder waarin die map zich bevindt, helemaal geladen is. Let op de vooruitgangsindicator in de adresbalk. Als die map niet volledig geladen is, kan de focus verspringen en hernoem je een andere folder. Dat kan gegevensverlies veroorzaken.
• Soms lukt het niet om een map te hernoemen. Dat is beschreven in het MSKB artikel Error message in Windows Vista when you try to rename a new subfolder in a shared folder on the network: “The folder does not exist” – http://support.microsoft.com/kb/934160

• Make sure that the containing folder is fully loaded (mind the progress indicated in the address bar). If the folder isn’t fully loaded yet, the focus is lost and you rename another folder. This might cause data loss.
